Company History
Headquartered in Southlake, Texas, Orion has a presence throughout the nation. The company can be found on the Web at www.orionfgi.com. Orion's founder, Walt Wileman, started the company in 1993. M.E. "Mike" Wileman, President and CEO, became the second-generation owner of Orion in February 2005. He has over 16 years in the consumer finance industry and began working with Orion Financial Group as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2001.

  • DocPro!®, our proprietary document management system, enables us to process high volume business with virtually no rejections - in fact, our rejection rate is the lowest in the industry. Orion's proprietary software, DocPro!®, positions the company to handle high volume projects with multiple assignors and/or assignees that need recording in numerous recording jurisdictions.
  • Orion has the ability to create documents at a rate 50 - 75% higher that the industry average - enabling the company to handle significant document recording volume
  • Innovative in-house mail system developed to streamline and expedite the back-end processing - requiring other companies to require a staff of 20 or more to match Orion's processing power.
  • Orion was the first to record electronically in Colorado, Texas and Pennsylvania. Currently, Orion performs e-recording in approximately five states, with an average of 2-3 counties per state.
  • Orion can and will handle recording projects from 100 units to 20,000 or more. In most projects, regardless of size, Orion can create the documents and send them to the correct recording jurisdiction in less than 60 days.
